Who we are

Want to paint the town red? Ready to townie it up? New and old, permanent and temporary, our bar is here for all our neighbors. We serve cold drinks, bar food, and a good time. Play pool, dance it out, join the community acoustic jam. Stop by for one before or one after your main event.

We are a small, local staff. We are a queer dive bar. We love our town.

After 30 great years, the previous owner was ready for the next phase of her life - and Jesse and Anna were ready for theirs. Driven by a shared desire to preserve WRJ’s townie dive bar (and its pool table), they committed to significant building repairs and code updates, a new roof and ceiling during a 6 week closure… just to keep the bar looking pretty much the same!

We’re more than the sum of our parts

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The bar is open 3-10pm Mon-Thurs, 3-11pm Fri and Sat, and 3-8pm on Sundays.

    The kitchen is open daily 4:30-8:30pm.

  • As a neighborhood bar we enjoy a diverse and intergenerational customer base, which means you might walk into an impromptu Pink Pony Club DIY dance party courtesy of the TouchTunes jukebox, or you might walk into a quiet bar of regulars saddled up for their daily debrief with the bartender. We are what you make us!

  • We are a queer neighborhood dive bar focused on community and good ol’ fashioned analog fun. We love our neighboring craft cocktail and wine bar lounges, AND we’re very proud to be the last dive standing!

  • We have a bar food menu offered from 4:30-8:30 pm nightly. We have house-made NY Style Pizza by the slice on Fridays and Saturdays, and rotating specials including monthly buffalo wings on the last Sunday of the month.

  • We stock Athletic IPA and Heinekin 0%, Stewart’s sodas, and a rotating selection of local non-alcoholic, CBD drinks, mocktails and fancy sodas. Our bartenders are also happy to whip you up a “Mocktail“ of your choosing!
